Illbeing challenges the widespread obsession with ‘wellbeing’ as an essential life component available to all. The work honours the silent and painful reality of many living with physical or mental pain. Recurring abstracted dragon fruit inside the female body is a take on dismissing women’s health issues and women not being believed or taken seriously.
